The timing of the break from everyday life could hardly be better. For Saturday's game against Newcastle was the rather sad battle. Not even Morten Gamst Pedersen was able to find rare bright, bike apparel, spots.
- To be honest, it was boring fight from start to finish, writes Morten Gamst Pedersen on his blog.
He chooses to note that despite a slight struggle, it was the least points - as opposed to when they played well against the Spurs in the game before. But for the player group will regain energy and find the joy to play,, cycling clothes, manager Steve Kean has chosen to take the team to Dubai. Here, they will shake off minor injuries and get laid back home.
- We have done this the past couple of years, and each time there has been a response, a glow and a few points, "said Kean, according to local newspaper the Lancashire Telegraph.
With the trip also Gamst Pedersen's new teammates, Mauro Formica and, cycling shorts, Ruben Rochina. (ANB)
